Samsung One UI 8.5 Update: Which Galaxy Models Will Receive the New AI Features?

Samsung has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated One UI 8.5 update will come to significantly more devices than originally planned. While the latest software was initially announced for the flagship models S25 and S24, owners of older generations and the popular Galaxy A series can now also look forward to groundbreaking features.

Galaxy AI for the mid-range: Awesome Intelligence

The highlight of this update is the introduction of “Awesome Intelligence”. With this, Samsung is bringing its advanced artificial intelligence features directly to the mid-range. Features that were previously reserved only for the premium class will soon also be available for the Galaxy A series.

According to Samsung Germany's latest announcement, One UI 8.5 support will be expanded to the following devices:

• S series: Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra and S23 FE.

• Foldables: Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.

• Tablets: Galaxy Tab S9, S9+ and S9 Ultra.

• Galaxy A series: Galaxy A54, A55, A56, A34, A35, A36, A25, A26, A15, A16 and A17.
